Attempting to be Vegan in Maryland

After spending the day in DC we had our last meal of the road trip at Busboys and Poets' Hyattsville, Maryland location. This restaurant and Plant were the two I was most looking forward to visiting. This meal was my traveling companion's favorite, which I was so happy about since it was his birthday. We split the coconut tofu bites with plum sauce which were amazing and I don't even like coconut. I had the vegan pepperoni calzone as my main meal which was pretty good, however, nothing compares to the vegan pizza at Blackbird Pizzeria. For dessert we split the brownie which was the best vegan brownie I ever had.
