Attempting to be Vegan in North Carolina


I thought that I was going to fall in love with Asheville, but I didn’t. The food was very good though. My first meal was at Green Sage. I enjoyed the Green Sage Plate which comes with a tofu scramble, biscuit, Portobello gravy, sautéed kale & onions, and sweet potato home fries. After freezing while checking out some shops we had dinner at Plant. I ordered the jerk grilled seitan with smashed sweet potatoes, sautéed collards, spicy serrano crudo, fried banana & celtic salt. It was pretty good but I’m still not that into eating seitan.
