There is just something about waterfalls. That's why I loved Ithaca so much. What would a road trip be without a waterfall, cemetery, castles, ivy league colleges, and vegan food? While in Connecticut I went to Devil's Hopyard State Park, Gillette Castle, The Ancient Burial Grounds, and saw Yale University. I didn't see Rory Gilmore though. Her and I graduated from college the same year. Class of 2007. The Shoreline Diner was the last place Sparky and I dined before returning to the Philadelphia area. I got the tempeh "fish"cakes. They were pretty good but I'm pretty sure that was the first time in my life that I experienced heartburn. I would have liked to have gotten the onion rings but they weren't vegan because they fried them in the same oil as the animal products just like The Friendly Toast. Otherwise the onion rings would have been vegan at both places.
