Attempting to be Vegan When Dining Out in The Suburbs

Longwood Gardens is a beautiful place to visit throughout the year. After enjoying the tulips when I visited last month, I had a vegan cheesesteak from Carmen's Pizza located at 606 MacDade Boulevard, Folsom, PA 19033. It did not compare to the vegan cheesesteak from Blackbird Pizzeria.

 

 

A friend and I had dinner at Thai L'elephant located on 301 Bridge Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460. That is my favorite Thai restaurant because they have a vegan section on their menu containing the delicious dish, tofu supreme. After dinner we had dessert at Brown's Cow located on 30 S Main St, Phoenixville, PA 19460. The décor was well chosen and they offered one flavor of Tofutti ice cream.

 

The third location of Sweet Freedom Bakery opened in Bryn Mawr on June 3rd. The newest location is on 1039 West Lancaster Avenue next door to Main Line Books. The cupcakes are highly priced but tasty.
