Attempting to be Vegan When Ordering Beer

A few weeks ago I had Ethiopian food for the first time at Abyssinia. It was amazing and 100% vegan. I loved eating with my hands as much as I thought I would. After dinner I went to the bar upstairs and ordered Mad Elf in a cherry chocolate flavor. The bartender told me it wasn't a stout so I thought it would be okay to drink. However, it contained honey. Major fail on my part but I still had a wonderful night.
Prior to seeing Rufus Wainwright in concert I dined at Cross Culture Restaurant. The Bhindi Masala and Tandoori Roti were delicious. Rufus put on a wonderful show even though he forgot some of the lyrics to 11:11. He is amusing as well as his sister Lucy who opened for him. I've been wearing scarves to work everyday since as I am inspired by his style.
