Attempting to be Vegan on a Sunday
Last Sunday I went to Linvilla Orchards with Sparky. We picked peaches, eggplant, corn, and peppers. After a few hours of picking our own produce we had dinner at The Hinge Cafe which had many vegetarian options. The dining experience was an unsuccessful attempt at being vegan as I had the cheese ravioli with a roasted tomato blush sauce. It was delicious. My dining partner got the perogies. I ended up making black bean, mushroom, and quinoa stuffed peppers utilizing the peppers I picked. The recipe was taken from Vegan With A Vengeance. I also made homemade red sauce for the stuffed peppers. That recipe was taken from Skinny Bitch in the Kitch.
